In the Okanagan, hiking is one of the best ways to find spectacular scenic viewpoints and, although hiking at any time of year is amazing, we really love walking in a winter wonderland! ☃️
A few of our favourite trails to explore during the winter:
Spion Kop Hiking Trails – There are so many options on this trail head! The summit trail can be a bit challenging in the winter, but the Paint Brush or Arrowleaf trails offer amazing scenery and lake views!
Okanagan Rail Trail – whether you start in downtown Kelowna, from Kal Beach in Vernon, or perhaps just wander around Wood Lake, the Okanagan Rail Trail is a flat, easy trail for any age and ability.
Knox Mountain – An iconic trail in downtown Kelowna to enjoy the scenic views of downtown and Okanagan lake! Take a winter picnic to Paul’s Tomb, or venture to the top of the Apex Trail for some great selfies!
